Key Responsibilities
- Actively source and generate new event leads and business opportunities
- Develop relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, planners, brands and other potential partners
- Manage incoming event enquiries and follow up on leads promptly
- Conduct site visits, venue presentations and client meetings
- Prepare proposals, quotations and customised event packages
- Negotiate and close event bookings
- Build corporate accounts and drive repeat business
- Identify upselling opportunities across F&B, beverages and event add-ons
- Coordinate closely with outlet operations, kitchen, bar, marketing and other internal teams
- Prepare event briefs, timelines and operational requirements
- Oversee event execution where required to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Liaise with external vendors, AV suppliers, entertainment and other event partners
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline
- Work towards monthly and quarterly event revenue targets
- Identify new partnerships, packages and initiatives to grow the events business
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in events sales, hospitality, venue sales, MICE, business development or a related field
- Strong commercial and sales mindset with experience in prospecting, pitching and closing deals
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple events and stakeholders concurrently
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow projects through from enquiry to execution
- Experience within F&B, hospitality, restaurants or lifestyle venues is preferred
- Existing corporate, events or agency connections will be an advantage
- Comfortable being on-site for events, including selected evenings and weekends when required
