Love the buzz of a busy venue, and happiest when you’re running the show? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-respected education organisation that’s looking for an experienced leisure and lettings coordinator. You’ll take the lead on their community sports and facilities offering until Christmas.

Your tasks

You’ll step straight into a senior role, running a small team and making sure every booking, event and customer visit goes smoothly. It suits someone who’s confident, organised and as comfortable leading a team as they are chatting to customers at the front desk.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and supporting a team of coordinators, including building weekly rotas
• Managing community bookings across the facilities and keeping the diary full
• Acting as the first point of contact for customers, clubs and new enquiries
• Coordinating events and holiday programmes
• Carrying out facility checks and keeping health & safety standards high
• Reporting to the CFO and joining termly meetings with senior stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a leisure centre, sports facility or lettings environment
• Health & safety and/or first aid experience
• Confidence supervising a team and dealing with the public
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends (37.5 hours a week)
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to get one

The details £17–18 per hour, starting as soon as possible and running until Christmas. Mostly 5pm–10pm on weekdays plus weekend shifts, with some flexibility as long as the hours are covered.
