(Practical) Lecturer Aviation
The Aviation program is looking for a passionate aviation colleague to help educate motivated young people.
This includes not only being active on our VLOC campus with, among other things, theory lessons and labs, but also actively participating in innovative aviation projects. All of this takes place in both Dutch and English.
The work is carried out in the innovative environment of our campus in Oostende, which was recently expanded with a research facility for UAS/Drones.

Job description:
Supervision of project work, internships, and bachelor theses within the professional bachelor program in aviation and/or Aviation.
Providing teaching assignments within the following subjects (depending on profile and availability):
- Vliegtuigmaterialen
- Vliegtuigcomposieten
- Vliegtuigelektriciteit
- Aircraft materials
- Aircraft composite materials
- Aircraft electricity
- You hold a master's degree in Ingenieurswetenschappen or Werktuigkunde with a specialization in Lucht- en Ruimtevaarttechnologie or a bachelor's degree with relevant work experience in the industry.
- You possess a C1 certificate in English or are willing to obtain this as soon as possible.
- You meet the language requirements for higher education or are willing to acquire them. If you hold a foreign diploma, with the exception of the Netherlands, an equivalence certificate from NARIC (www.naric.be) must be attached.
- Those wishing to respond to this vacancy via a TAO in a different educational level can only do so if the assignment within VIVES amounts to 35% or more and furthermore falls within the status, therefore not as a contractual guest professor.
