Support cooks in the kitchen with food handling and cooking tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Participate in catering events, assisting with setup, service, and cleanup as needed. Collaborate with the dietary department to meet specific dietary needs of clients or guests. Perform other related duties as assigned to support kitchen operations. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience in a Sushi/Japanese restaurant setting. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Familiarity with catering services or restaurant operations is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn about meal preparation techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
