Responsibilities and assignments

• Strategically coordinate the international purchasing process, conducting negotiations with global suppliers to ensure the best commercial conditions, competitiveness, quality, delivery times, and service levels, aligned with the organization's objectives.
• Ensure the continuous supply of imported materials, monitoring the entire import flow, from the issuance of purchase orders, shipment management, documentation, exchange processes, and customs clearance, acting at the interface with the Foreign Trade, Logistics, Planning, Production, and other involved areas.
• Lead, develop, and monitor the International Purchasing team, promoting management through indicators, the development of strategic suppliers, the implementation of continuous improvements in processes, compliance with regulations, the generation of savings, the mitigation of international supply chain risks, and the guarantee of business supply continuity.

Requirements and qualifications

Educational background: Completed Higher Education in Foreign Trade, Administration, Engineering, Logistics, International Relations, or related fields.

Professional experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in International Purchasing, Foreign Trade, or Procurement, working in negotiations with global suppliers and management of import processes.

Specific knowledge:

• Foreign Trade (COMEX) and import processes;
• International negotiation and supplier management;
• Customs legislation and import documentation;
• Incoterms, exchange, and international logistics;
• Management of performance indicators (KPIs) and cost reduction (savings);
• Office Package, with advanced Excel;
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP will be considered a differentiator).

Languages:

• Advanced or fluent English (essential for international negotiations);
• Intermediate or advanced Spanish (desirable).
