Purchasing and Procurement Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

KARPOS RH is recruiting for its client, a major player in compatible and remanufactured printing consumables, which is pursuing its industrial and logistical transformation at its Rillieux-la-Pape site. In this context, the company is recruiting a Purchasing and Procurement Manager to manage upstream flows and contribute to its operational performance.

The objective of the position is to guarantee product availability, optimize stock levels, secure supplies, and coordinate the purchasing function in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will manage a team of 4 to 5 people and collaborate closely with the Sales, Customer Service, Logistics departments, and suppliers in France and internationally.

Manage Procurement

ü Analyze and plan needs based on product cycles, seasonality, and sales forecasts.

ü Launch and monitor supplier orders, ensuring compliance with deadlines and costs.

ü Ensure coordination with logistics and warehouses for smooth and compliant reception.

ü Monitor performance indicators (service level, stockouts, backorders, delays) and propose action plans.

Optimize Inventory Management

• Define target stock levels according to product ranges and their rotation. Implement tools and processes to ensure data reliability in the ERP (Divalto). Monitor indicators (rotation, coverage, overstock, obsolescence) and alert in case of deviation.

Manage and Lead the Procurement/Purchasing Team

• Define priorities, set objectives, and manage KPIs. Support the skill development and autonomy of employees. Ensure regular reporting to management.

Supervise the Purchasing Function

• Consolidate needs and challenge sourcing proposals. Supervise the negotiation of purchasing conditions (price, lead times, incoterms). Secure strategic supplies (double sourcing, logistical conditions).

Coordinate External Subcontracting

• Plan outsourced operations and guarantee the availability of components. Monitor partner performance and adjust priorities if necessary.

Profile Description:

With a Master's degree (Business School, Engineering, or equivalent), you have significant experience of at least 5 years in the fields of procurement, purchasing, and inventory management, ideally acquired in an international BtoB environment. Your career path has allowed you to develop a solid understanding of supply chain challenges and to hold managerial responsibilities in versatile teams.

You have perfect mastery of management and analysis tools (ERP, ideally Divalto, advanced Excel) as well as professional English to collaborate effectively with international partners and suppliers. You know how to manage performance indicators, optimize logistical flows, and challenge purchasing solutions.

Your interpersonal skills and leadership allow you to engage your teams and unite them around common goals. Pragmatic and results-oriented, you combine rigor, foresight, and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.

You will hold a strategic position that will allow you to contribute directly to the company's operational performance and to lead structuring projects.
