Online marketer international programs - 50%
About the company
Who are we? KdG - the Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences in Antwerp, where lecturers and staff strive every day for strong education and equal opportunities.
At KdG, we believe it is important that you feel good. Therefore, count on space. To be who you are. To keep learning. To take steps forward together. As a university and as a society.
Your tasks
What is your role? You ensure that future international students and partners find their way to KdG online, get to know the offerings, and can choose KdG well-informed. To achieve this, you utilize numerous online marketing techniques, such as SEO, marketing automation, social ads, and Google Ads.
You are simultaneously a thinker and a doer: you help determine the digital approach, but also write texts yourself, build mail flows, optimize pages, analyze data, and set campaigns live.
What do you do concretely?
- Website & SEO: You manage and optimize our English-language website environment. With strong content and smart SEO optimizations, you ensure excellent findability and high conversion.
- Content & Storytelling: You translate the stories of our students and programs into persuasive content. Whether it is web texts, videos, or social media: you ensure the right tone of voice. Additionally, you help colleagues sharpen their content.
- Marketing Automation & CRM: You build and optimize automated English-language email flows. You segment leads from international fairs and recruitment events, so the right student receives the right message at the right time.
- Advertising & Campaigns: You set up thoughtful Google Ads campaigns, monitor the budget, and seamlessly connect ads to converting landing pages and mailings.
- Data & Optimization: You analyze behavior on our platforms and provide clear insights. You use data not just to report, but primarily to continuously improve.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who breathes digital marketing, enjoys working independently, and gets energy from a combination of strategy, creation, technology, and analysis.
You can empathize with the world of an international student or partners who do not yet know KdG. You understand which information, stories, and experiences are needed to create trust and persuade in the event of a proper match. You translate those insights into an attractive, user-friendly, and conversion-oriented English-language website.
- You have a bachelor's degree[1], preferably in marketing, communication, digital marketing, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- You have relevant experience with digital marketing, content, and online communication.
- You write fluently and persuasively in English (C1 level) and have an excellent sense of language and tone of voice.
- You have experience with website management and understand the basic principles of SEO.
- You can create content independently and also look critically at the content of others.
- You have experience with or a strong interest in email marketing and marketing automation.
- You understand how digital campaigns work and preferably have experience with Google Ads.
- You can interpret data and translate insights into concrete improvements.
- You have strong digital curiosity and follow new developments within marketing, AI, and online communication.
- You work accurately, organized, and independently, but actively seek collaboration with colleagues.
- You can switch easily between strategic thinking and executive work: developing a campaign strategy today, writing a landing page tomorrow, and analyzing the results afterwards.
- Experience with tools for content creation, video, or design – such as Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or AI tools – is a plus.
Above all, you are someone who asks themselves: “How do we make KdG more accessible to our international student?”
