Your tasks

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct lively and engaging Science lessons for Primary students, online or at the centre
• Use AI tools to plan and prepare lessons efficiently, and adapt materials to suit each class’s level
• Plan, review and evaluate lessons regularly to keep improving teaching quality
• Mark pupils’ work, track their progress, and identify areas where they need extra help
• Help students prepare for school tests and national examinations (PSLE / O-Level)
• Collaborate with the team to develop curriculum, teaching strategies and new materials
• Give regular feedback to parents on their child’s learning progress, in English and Mandarin
• Teach an average of 10-20 classes per week, including covering classes for colleagues on leave and conducting workshops
• Take part in team review sessions and be open to new ideas and feedback

Requirements

Snapshots of Our Ideal Candidate

• Diploma or Degree in Science or a related field; NIE qualification (DIP / BA / PGDE) or overseas equivalent is a plus
• Good understanding of the Singapore MOE Science syllabus and exam formats
• Able to teach and communicate confidently in both English and Mandarin
• Experience teaching primary or secondary school students is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome as full training is provided
• Comfortable using technology and open to using AI tools in lesson preparation
• Patient, responsible and genuinely enjoys working with children
• Driven and results-focused, with a positive “can do” attitude
• A team player who communicates well and is willing to learn
• Able to work weekday evenings and weekends, [e.g. 4 weekdays + Saturday or Sunday]
