Your tasks
Are you a technically minded buyer who enjoys switching between the market, suppliers, and internal customers?
Do you get energy from negotiating, analyzing, and optimizing a technical assortment? Then we have a great challenge for you!
As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for a portion of our technical assortment. You:
- actively scan the market and spot opportunities for better products and suppliers
- execute tactical procurement processes, from quotation to contract
- negotiate sharply on price, quality, and delivery reliability
- monitor supplier performance and translate data into clear KPI reports
- continuously coordinate with engineering, production, planning, and administration
- ensure that the right material is in the right place, at the right time, and at the right price
You play a key role in preventing downtime on the production floor.
Requirements
What do you bring?
- MBO education in WTB and/or Electrotechniek (Level 1-2 is a plus)
- Experience as a buyer in a technical or industrial environment
- Technical affinity and commercial sharpness
- Experience with ERP/logistics systems and MS Office (Excel)
- Good command of the English language
- Competencies such as: negotiating, analyzing, planning, collaborating, and result-oriented working
