Role Overview We seek a Senior Shopify Developer (Full Stack) to lead the technical setup and development of our clients' stores from the ground up. The ideal candidate will own both front-end and back-end work, building custom, high-converting Shopify storefronts and developing the functionality that powers them behind the scenes. This role is for a developer who can take a store from concept to launch, vibe coding the required from scratch scope, and solve complex technical challenges independently, while collaborating closely with our design, performance, and content teams.

Key Responsibilities Build and set up new Shopify stores end to end, from theme development to launch.

Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with hands help of AI.

Develop custom sections, blocks, and dynamic components within the Shopify theme architecture.

Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing/analytics tools.

Implement and troubleshoot store logic, checkout customizations, and metafields/metaobjects.

Optimize stores for performance, page speed, SEO, and clean responsive UX across devices.

Migrate stores and data between platforms and themes when needed.

Work closely with designers to translate designs into pixel-accurate, functional storefronts.

Maintain code quality, documentation, and reusable components across projects.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and independently.

Qualifications and Experience Experience: At least 3 or more years of hands-on Shopify development experience, including full store builds and launches.

Front-End Skills: Strong command of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript, with an eye for responsive, high-converting UX.

Back-End Skills: Experience with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL), custom app development, webhooks, and third-party integrations.

Full-Stack Ability: Comfortable owning both the storefront and the logic that powers it, end to end.

Technical Depth: Solid understanding of theme architecture, metafields, metaobjects, checkout customization, and performance optimization.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Able to diagnose and resolve complex Shopify issues efficiently and independently.

eCommerce Knowledge: Strong understanding of online retail operations, conversion best practices, and SEO fundamentals.

Productivity Tools: Comfortable using Notion, Slack, Trello, or similar project management tools.

Language Proficiency: Strong English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).

Remote Work Skills: Able to manage tasks and deliver independently in a remote-first environment.

Portfolio Required Live Shopify stores you built end to end (front-end and back-end)

Custom theme development work (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS)

Any custom apps, API integrations, or checkout/back-end customizations

Performance and speed optimization examples (preferred stores are already public)
