Senior Alignment Engineer

Your tasks

• Review horizontal/vertical alignment design, track geometry and civils setting-out data • Assess constructability of the alignment against earthworks, structures and stations positioning • Coordinate alignment interfaces with bridges, tunnels, stations and utilities disciplines • Respond to Construction's alignment-related Site Queries and Technical Queries • Verify consistency of alignment data across the federated BIM model and survey control • Assess alignment design changes and their downstream impact on structures and stations • Support coordination of chainage referencing and survey control with the Survey/GIS function • Maintain the alignment review tracker and report to the Civils Design Manager

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Civil/Rail Engineering from an accredited university; (Master's degree preferred) -Minimum 10-12 years' civil/rail alignment engineering experience, including track geometry design or design-review on rail projects; experience on a High-Speed Rail or Metro project of similar scale is preferred. -Track alignment design standards, Civil3D alignment modelling, survey control coordination, structures/stations interface awareness. -Fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage. -Able to write clear, technically precise correspondence, technical queries (TQs) and review comments, and to present findings confidently to Etihad Rail and internal Construction teams.
