Site Engineer - Nea Kerdylia Serres / Asprovalta

The Position As part of the development and construction of new residential projects, we are looking for a Site Engineer for daily presence at the construction site in Nea Kerdylia Serres, in the wider area of Asprovalta.

The ideal candidate will have an active and substantial role in the daily monitoring of construction, the coordination of teams and contractors, and ensuring the smooth, qualitative, and timely progress of the project. We are looking for a practical and organized engineer with a substantial understanding of construction and site experience, who will be able to take over the daily operation and monitoring of the site.

Main Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and monitoring of the progress of works at the site
• Coordination of contractors, teams, and suppliers
• Checking the correct application of approved studies, construction drawings, and technical specifications
• Monitoring the schedule and progress of works
• Measurement of works and checking quantities
• Quality control and checking the correct execution of construction works
• Identification and resolution of daily technical and construction issues
• Collaboration with the Project Manager, designers, contractors, and other project partners
• Maintaining a daily record of work progress and drafting weekly reports
• Monitoring compliance with Health and Safety rules at the site

Required Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Works Engineering, Engineering Technologist, or a related technical specialty
• Proven practical experience on a construction site or in construction projects
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and construction drawings
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Driver's license
• Organization, responsibility, and consistency
• Ability to coordinate teams, contractors, and multiple tasks
• Ability for daily presence at the site

Will be particularly valued:

• Experience in measurements, work certifications, and quantity checking
• Experience in monitoring schedules and project progress
• Good knowledge of construction details and practical understanding of the construction process
