Food Technologist

As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Food Technologist to staff the Quality Department at our facilities in Acharnes, Attica.

Main Duties

• Supervision and assurance of the implementation of HACCP, ISO, BRC, IFS, RA standards across all company operations.
• Organization and conduct of sampling for products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Management of quality issues and complaints, with direct communication and cooperation with international customers and suppliers for their effective resolution.
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers, including the provision of all necessary information, documents, and the sending of requested samples, as well as consultancy on product development and performance improvement.
• Investigation of deviations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Inspection of receipts and ensuring product traceability.
• Monitoring and implementation of current food legislation requirements.
• Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry developments, ensuring their integration into corporate practices.
• Ensuring the correct and effective implementation of operational procedures, in accordance with legislation, food safety systems, and company specifications (analyses, returns, recalls).

Required Qualifications:

• University/Technical degree in Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a food company.
• Excellent knowledge of food legislation and experience with international food safety and quality standards (e.g., BRC, ISO 22000, FSSC).
• Experience in ERP systems and excellent proficiency in MS Office, with full computer literacy for daily operations and reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Ability to work under pressure, in personnel management, and in warehouse management, applying FIFO/FEFO methods and using WMS/ERP systems.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork under pressure.
• High level of professional ethics, conduct, and integrity.
• For male candidates, fulfillment of military obligations is required.
