The position:
The Challenge
An aeronautical subcontracting site must maintain its EN9100 certification while absorbing new customers with their own requirements. Audits are following one after another - customers, certification bodies - and the QMS must not only hold up, but progress. We need someone who knows the system from the inside, who knows how to make it live on a daily basis, and who does not lose their footing when a demanding auditor arrives in the workshop. That someone is you.
What you will concretely do
As the guarantor of the Quality Management System on the site, you are its daily operational pilot:
Pilot quality indicators and ensure associated reporting to management. Maintain, develop, and optimize the EN9100 QMS: internal audits, flash audits, management reviews, process reviews, documentation. Supervise and lead continuous improvement processes: QRQC, monitoring of corrective actions, problem solving, improvement plans. Be the direct interlocutor for customers and certification bodies: contract reviews, complaint management, on-site audits. Take charge of the deployment of requirements from new customers and new certifications. Train and raise awareness among operators regarding product quality requirements and current procedures. Contribute to the improvement of the site's environmental, health, and safety performance.
Profile sought:
You have a Bac+3 to Bac+5 degree in production engineering, mechanics, metallurgy, or equivalent, with a quality specialization acquired through studies or in the field.
You have at least 10 years of experience in an aeronautical industrial environment. You master the EN9100 standard - not just its broad outlines, but its details: you know how to audit it, make it live, and defend it against a certifier.
You are comfortable with quality tools: 8D, QRQC, improvement plans. You know how to coordinate multi-service teams without direct hierarchical authority, and maintain a rigorous customer relationship even under pressure.
Your English is operational - exchanges with certain customers are conducted in English.
You are autonomous. No need for supervision to decide, to act, or to conduct an audit. You have the perspective to analyze, the rigor to document, and the resilience to handle difficult moments without losing sight of the objective.
