Responsibilities
- Administer all contract-related activities to ensure compliance and accuracy throughout project lifecycle
- Prepare project plans, contracts, budgets, and related documentation to support project execution
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates to inform contract administration and tender processes
- Prepare and manage documents for sourcing quotations during pre- and post-tender stages
- Evaluate tenders and conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Collaborate with the Procurement Department to ensure timely procurement of materials aligned with project schedules
- Monitor and track project expenses to optimize profitability and financial performance
- Attend progress, technical, and material submission meetings to capture variation claims, potential changes, and time implications
- Prepare and submit claims, variation orders, budgets, and cost control reports to facilitate settlement of final accounts
- Ensure timely closure of all main contract and subcontract final accounts to complete project financials
- Conduct risk analysis evaluations to identify and mitigate potential project risks
- Perform feasibility studies to assess project viability and inform decision-making
- Execute any other ad hoc duties as required to support project and organizational objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience in the construction industry
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong written communication skills to produce clear and effective project documentation
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously within set timelines
