The task of the Assistant Professor is to qualify as a professor. The areas of responsibility are research, teaching, supervision, and development tasks related to the field of economics. We expect the Assistant Professor to conduct internationally high-level economics research. We are looking for a person whose research area links to one or more of the faculty's research focus areas (decision-making support economics and economic competitiveness, digital business and economy, and sustainable business and economy).

The Assistant Professor's teaching duties include teaching, supervising, and developing basic, subject, and advanced courses in the field. Administrative tasks related to other academic obligations are also part of the Assistant Professor's duties. The Assistant Professor supervises bachelor's and master's theses as well as doctoral dissertations and secures external funding.

The eligibility requirements for the position are a suitable doctoral degree, strong evidence of research work, securing funding, and international networking.
