Welcome to JYSK!

JYSK is a rapidly expanding retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing, and we expect the distribution center to be operational by early 2027. But of course, that doesn’t mean we’re sitting still until then! Currently, a lot of work is being done in our temporary distribution center to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.

Your tasks

WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT As an Area Responsible you are the right hand of the team leader. You are experienced in the department and can work independent and efficient. What we expect more from you as an area responsible besides the daily tasks on your department:

• You suggest efficiency improvements in workflow and processes and discuss this with your team leader;
• Together with the team leader, you coordinate the employees in daily tasks;
• Replace team leader when absent;
• Secure that health & safety regulations are followed.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• Good communicative skills to motivate the team in English and/or Dutch;
• Are a good helpful colleague and contribute positively to the team
• Go the extra mile for getting the job done in busy times
• You are experiences in inbound department and work independent and efficient;
• You live our JYSK values; Colleague, Corporate spirit and Tradesman.

• Shift: Evening shift
• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 15:00-00:00
• Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Hourly wage: €16.91-€18.11
• 50% shift allowance for hours worked between 21:00 - 00:00
