About the Role: We are looking for a senior, business-oriented Vendor Management Consultant to optimize supplier performance, improve cost efficiency, and ensure effective resource utilization within the automotive industry. The consultant will focus on increasing financial transparency, strengthening supplier accountability, improving delivery quality and productivity, and evaluating sourcing strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities. The role will also involve leveraging AI-driven insights and analytical tools to enhance vendor management processes and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and experience in supplier performance and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities: Increase transparency into the financial impact of Change Requests (CRs) and related supplier costs.

Regularly review and optimize the resource mix to ensure efficient utilization of resources.

Analyze delivery outcomes, quality, and productivity to assess supplier performance.

Challenge Change Requests that should be covered by the existing contractual scope.

Identify underperforming suppliers, roles, and non-critical System Integrator (SI) resources.

Strengthen supplier accountability for agreed deliverables, quality, and delivery timelines.

Evaluate which capabilities should remain with System Integrators and which could be sourced from alternative, more cost-efficient suppliers.

Review sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency and overall supplier value.

Leverage AI tools and data-driven insights to improve vendor management activities and decision-making.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable business outcomes.

Requirements: Master's degree (MSc) in Economics, Business Administration, or a related business discipline.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess financial data, supplier performance, and resource utilization.

Experience in vendor management, supplier performance management, cost optimization, or a related consulting role.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to challenge existing practices and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings.

Full professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in data analysis or a background as a data analyst.

Extensive knowledge of Power BI and analytical tools.

Experience using or developing AI tools and applying AI-driven insights to business processes.

Experience with sourcing consultants and evaluating alternative sourcing models.

Experience working with System Integrators (SIs), supplier contracts, Change Requests, and delivery accountability.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
