Must Haves: Data Structures, Algorithms, Distributed Systems, Enterprise Application, Java, OOP, Database Design, REST Services Talents from product Dev/Internet Firms Only Candidates should be based out of Sweden  We are seeking Lead/Software Engineers to join a world-class team of highly motivated software engineers and infrastructure experts.  Formulate, implement, and evaluate algorithms for platform and application features in Java Provides design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment and top-level support ownership of product technologies. Identifies design requirements and makes recommendations for capacity planning, performance optimization and future direction Provides expertise on multiple technologies/products and support for next generation initiatives Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, and JavaScript Be inquisitive, able to investigate discrepancies and follow a query through to resolution Experience and knowledge of open source tools & frameworks, broader cutting edge technologies around server side development Experience with open source technology and tools Equally important is an ability to learn, experiment and gain expertise in any related new technology quickly. Product from scratch experience: at least 2 products, should be able to work independently alongside Sweden based product leads/teams Have ability to manage and drive the feature roadmap for modules that they own Have owned one or more functional modules/product and are responsible from the product specification to deployment of these modules Have been part of the core product development team and have built an awesome cloud based SaaS product(s) Know how to engineer a full-fledged system and not just write code to make things work. Guide, Monitor & groom Junior engineers in their day to day Technical issues Collaborate with development teams on work definition, estimation and prioritization Full ownership of product deliveries and mentoring team members Effective stakeholder management and reporting (verbal and written) skills Experience collaborating with business users to define the key business requirements and translate them into process/technical solutions
