Position Overview
As a Senior Technical Architect, you will serve as the premier technical authority and thought leader. You will architect, design, and oversee the successful delivery of enterprise-grade solutions built on the Salesforce Public Sector Cloud (PSS).
Impact & Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership & Governance: Define the end-to-end technical architecture, data models, and deployment strategies for licensing platforms leveraging Salesforce Public Sector Cloud best practices.
- Solution Design & Build: Drive the creation of High-Level and Low-Level Application Architecture documents. Hands-on development and champion the use of out-of-the-box PSS capabilities (e.g., OmniStudio/Omniscript, Business Rules Engine) to minimize technical debt.
- Government Ecosystem Integration: Architect secure, high-performing integration patterns leveraging middleware tools to connect Salesforce with critical WoG platforms (e.g., Singpass, Corppass, Myinfo, GovWallet) and internal data hubs.
- Technical Risk & Resolution Management: Proactively identify architectural bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, or scalability issues. Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical implementation blockers and commit to complete resolution.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Negotiate technical solutions and align expectations across internal business units, external industry partners, and third-party system integrators.
- Continuous Practice Growth & Mentorship: Lead internal strategic initiatives to mature Salesforce capability. Mentor and upskill junior technical resources and developers, establishing a repository of reusable architectural patterns and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:
- 10+ years of enterprise architecture or technical consulting experience, with a proven track record of architecting large-scale Salesforce solutions.
- 3+ years acting as a Lead/Senior Architect driving digital transformation initiatives within a matrixed or public sector organization.
- Public Sector & Licensing Context:
- Direct experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) for government workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize and automate complex business processes (e.g., application processing, compliance inspections, fee collections) via technology.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies in a government context.
- Technical Domain Expertise:
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture concepts including integration technologies (MuleSoft, APIM), Single Sign-On (SSO/OAuth), and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Proven experience designing front-end and back-end architectures, environment management strategies, and automated CI/CD release management workflows.
- Soft Skills:
- Polished communicator and presenter capable of defending architectural decisions and evangelizing technical best practices to both C-level executives and developer teams.
- Self-starter who thrives on studying emerging technologies and pushing the boundaries of existing cloud capabilities.
- Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
