CNC Punch Operator - Nights

Just Recruitment is working with a growing business, based on the outskirts of Sudbury - looking to add a CNC Punch Operator, on a night shift basis to their team.

The key purpose of this role is to set up, program, and operation of our TRUMPF sheet metal punching machines, ensuring jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule while maintaining equipment and quality standards.

Key duties include:

• Set up and operate TRUMPF CNC punch machines
• Load programs, adjust tooling, and perform machine setups
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and works orders
• Select, install, and maintain punch tooling
• Monitor machine operation and adjust to ensure quality output
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to supplied drawings
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance
• Maintain production records and report issues to supervision

Although this role is on a night shift basis - during the training period (1-2 months) day shifts hours will be required.

Night hours are: 20.30 - 7.00 Sunday to Wednesday
