Civil Estimating Engineer

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.

Develop a simple and practical Scope of Works (SOW) based on project requirements and engineering experience.

Read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications.

Prepare accurate BOQs and quantity take-offs for tender submissions.

Mark up drawings to identify scope, quantities, and construction requirements.

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams as required.

Complete estimates within tender deadlines.

Maintain organized records of estimates, quantity take-offs, and supporting documents.

5–8 years of experience in Civil Estimation / Tendering / Quantity Surveying Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Strong experience in Quantity Take-Off, BOQ, Cost Estimation & Tender Pricing Good understanding of civil drawings & specifications Good spoken English + above-average reading & writing Experience in residential & commercial civil construction projects
