Accounting Consultant to Vaxholm

About the company

For our public client in Vaxholm, we are now seeking an accounting consultant for a time-limited assignment. The finance unit consists of a manager and five employees, and together they are responsible for the organization's financial administration and accounting. Our client is in a phase of change where the current financial system Raindance is to be replaced with Visma Publitech. Procurement has been completed and the implementation of the new system is underway. Full operation is planned after the turn of the year.

Your tasks

We are looking for you who can contribute your accounting competence and support the finance unit during this transition period.

Requirements

To be qualified for the assignment, you have

• University education or equivalent within finance/administration/technology
• Education/knowledge in MS-Office
• Education/knowledge in financial systems or equivalent available on the market
• At least ten years of work experience from the public and private sectors
• At least two assignments within the municipal sector (completed or ongoing).
• Very good knowledge of Raindance classic
• Experience in municipal accounting and year-end closing
• Held overall responsibility for the municipality's accounting
• Experience in group accounting
• Knowledge of pension and tax, auditing and annual reports
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
