Accountant, Financial Reporting

Do you want to work with financial reporting in an international and dynamic business? We are now looking for an Accountant, Financial Reporting for an exciting consulting assignment at a global company with high requirements for quality, structure, and delivery.

In this role, you will have broad responsibility within accounting and reporting, working closely with several functions within finance and treasury as well as external auditors. You will become an important part of ensuring correct financial reporting according to applicable regulations and internal control requirements.

Tasks

As Accountant, Financial Reporting, you will among other things:

Responsible for and coordinate monthly closings and financial reporting

Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and SOX requirements

Review, analyze, and quality assure financial reports

Contribute to the work with quarterly reports and annual reports

Responsible for the preparation of legal annual reports and coordination of audits

Drive improvement initiatives to streamline processes and working methods

Collaborate with functions including controlling, treasury, FP&A, HR, and legal

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong accounting background and experience in financial reporting within a large organization. You are analytical, meticulous, and thrive in an environment where quality and deadlines are central.

We expect you to have:

Academic education in economics or finance

Approximately 3-7 years of experience in qualified accounting work

Good knowledge of IFRS

Very good knowledge of Excel

Experience with month-end closing, annual reports, and financial reporting

Good understanding of Accounting and Financial Control processes

Experience working in an international environment

Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
