We are looking in Fulda for a

System Engineer High Frequency, Radar and Ultrasound Systems (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Strategic development of new measured values, measurement principles and sensor solutions (HF, ultrasound, radar) including simulation, design as well as material and process selection
• Carrying out analyses, competitive comparisons and tests on sensors, components and purchased parts including derivation of optimizations
• Development and optimization of manufacturing processes as well as participation in production equipment, tools and supplier selection
• Creation and coordination of technical concepts, variants, modules, test plans, test specifications as well as requirement/specification documents and documentation
• Carrying out quality and risk analyses (FMEA, FMEDA), functional tests, test protocols as well as ensuring normative requirements and approvals
• Evaluation of solution approaches including cost calculation, feasibility analyses as well as implementation taking quality and economic efficiency into account
• Project work and project management as well as cooperation with specialist departments, customers, international partners, universities and committees including knowledge building, training and support

Your Profile

• Completed technical studies with a specialization in electrical engineering, control and automation technology, computer science or similar
• Alternatively, completed technician training or completed vocational training as a physics laboratory technician (m/f/d) with supplementary experience and specialist knowledge
• Several years of professional experience (ideally >5 years)
• Knowledge in the development of sensor technology, measurement systems or HF/radar/ultrasound technologies is an advantage
• Confident handling of simulation, testing procedures and development processes
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
• Teamwork skills, commitment and an independent way of working
• Strong communication skills and a confident appearance in customer contact
