Head of Application Services (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Application Development, Reporting, and Master Data teams, as well as coordination of internal and external consultants
• Expansion and management of the Enterprise Application Services department with a focus on standard solutions such as SAP-ERP (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, DS, EWM, VC, GTS), HR solutions, CRM, and other corporate applications
• Ensuring stable and secure operation as well as continuous further development of the deployed standard solutions in the Application Layer in close cooperation with Infrastructure Services
• Design and management of the Key-User organizations, taking into account the Best Practices of the respective manufacturers
• Responsibility for contract and license management of the deployed standard solutions
• Development of innovative and future-oriented solutions and services for the specialist departments
• Definition, implementation, and optimization of processes, tools, and solutions to ensure high quality of applications, data, and workflows
• Management of the Demand Management process for the responsible business solutions
• Ensuring SLA quality through appropriate processes and their compliance
• Management of external partners as well as cooperation with stakeholders, delivery units, and international subsidiaries
• Participation in global SAP-ERP rollouts and coordination of IT-internal tasks

Your profile

• Completed studies in Informatik or a comparable qualification in the field of Information Technology
• Several years of experience as a manager as well as in leading software implementation projects, including responsibility for budget, quality, and time
• Sound knowledge of standard software solutions (especially SAP) as well as good process understanding in manufacturing companies
• Strong communication skills, confident appearance, and the ability to position oneself clearly and assertively
• Tact in dealing with different stakeholders and constructive cooperation
• Independent, solution-oriented action in line with corporate strategy and IT roadmap
• High competence in prioritizing projects and resources, taking into account Business Value and IT-Governance
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
