People Advisor Gloucester / Hybrid Working £31,457 - £33,472 per annum Full Time - Permanent Two Vacancies Available

Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly respected Gloucestershire-based organisation in their search for two People Advisors to join their established People team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional looking to develop their career within a varied and fast-paced environment. Offering a blend of employee relations, recruitment, absence management and project work, this role provides the chance to make a genuine impact while building strong relationships across a large and diverse workforce.

The Role:

As a People Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical and professional advice on a broad range of people matters. No two days will be the same, and you will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment practices
  • Supporting employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and investigations
  • Managing sickness absence processes and supporting wellbeing initiatives
  • Coordinating Occupational Health referrals and associated administration
  • Supporting recruitment activity to ensure the attraction and onboarding of high-quality talent
  • Conducting compliance and employee file audits
  • Supporting onboarding processes and safer recruitment requirements
  • Assisting with HR projects, process improvements and employee experience initiatives
  • Working collaboratively across the wider People function to deliver an exceptional HR service
  • Supporting Skilled Worker sponsorship administration where required

About You

We are looking for a positive, organised and relationship-focused individual who enjoys working in a people-centric environment.

You will ideally have:

  • A solid understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation or willingness to learn
  • Experience supporting employee relations cases
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving

Desirable experience includes:

  • Recruitment and onboarding support
  • Safer recruitment processes
  • Skilled Worker sponsorship administration
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
