Juice Recruitment is currently recruiting for a People Advisor to join a busy and collaborative organisation, providing practical HR advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of People activities. This is a varied role where no two days are likely to be the same, offering the opportunity to build strong relationships across the organisation and develop your experience across employee relations, absence, recruitment, onboarding and wider People projects. DAY TO DAY: Providing advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures and routine employee relations matters. Supporting managers with grievances, disciplinary processes and performance improvement. Assisting with formal investigations, including evidence gathering, documentation and preparation of relevant paperwork. Managing sickness absence processes and supporting managers with absence meetings. Coordinating Occupational Health referrals and supporting appropriate risk assessments. Conducting exit and stay interviews and identifying key themes and trends. Supporting recruitment activity, including agency and temporary workers. Quality checking recruitment adverts and employee records. Supporting onboarding and safer recruitment compliance. Advising and supporting People Coordinators within the team. Contributing to People projects, process improvements and initiatives designed to enhance the employee experience. Identifying potential risks, gaps and areas requiring further attention. Supporting Skilled Worker sponsorship activity and monitoring sponsored employees. Working collaboratively with the wider People team to provide a consistent and responsive HR service. WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Previous experience within an HR, People Advisory or generalist HR role. Experience supporting employee relations and employee lifecycle processes. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. A collaborative, approachable and customer-focused style. Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification/experience would be desirable. INDS
