Field Service Engineer

Your tasks

Job Scope Responsible for onsite Technical Support such as system installation, preventive maintenance. periodic system calibration, system upgrades and repair services for Semiconductor Testers & Handlers and OEM related products.

• System maintenance &Troubleshoot workstation hardware & operating system

• Set-up, install, buy-off, upgrade and trouble-shoot automated semiconductor and other related equipment at customer sites, both local and overseas.

• Prepare service reports and provide feedback on technical issues with regards to equipment performance.

• Actively engage with customers to ensure highest level of service commitment and quality.

• In addition, you are also expected to perform any other lawful and reasonable duties as determined by the Company or Company’s partners/customers based on the business needs.

Requirements

Traits and qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or electronics

1) People with good personality, integrity, Initiative, work flexibility and responsibility.

2) Work experience in the semiconductor industry and its environment particularly in production testing will be preferred.

3) Knowledge and 1-2years working experience with Advantest pick‑and‑place automated Handlers and HP/Agilent/Verigy/Advantest legacy test systems will be an added advantage.

4) Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision, with ability to handle difficult issues.

5) Good communication skill, able to build relationships with customers, a team player and able to render help to teammates, a positive can-do attitude with well-organized work style.

6) Must be able to travel frequently and undertake long‑term overseas assignments to support operational and customer needs.
