Design Engineer ( Mechanical / Permanent )

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our innovative team in the factory automation sector. This role is ideal for a self-driven individual with a strong mechanical engineering foundation and a passion for designing practical, real-world automation solutions.

As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the development of mechanical systems and components using industry-standard tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD , and collaborate across departments to bring designs from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for factory automation projects.

Create accurate 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Work collaboratively with electrical, software, and production teams throughout the design and manufacturing process.

Support fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting during product realization.

Ensure all designs meet functional, safety, and industry compliance standards.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation and revision records.

Continuously evaluate and improve existing designs to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Associate's degree, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in factory automation .

Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD .

Hands-on experience in mechanical part design , fabrication , and assembly .

Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and design for manufacturability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.

Creative thinker with a detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
