environmental engineer
Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Tasks:
- Conduct environmental impact studies.
- Conduct feasibility studies.
- Plan and design water and waste management systems.
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant information .
- Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects.
- Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.
- Write progress reports .
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
Computer and technology knowledge:
- AutoCAD.
- MS Office.
- MS Project.
- MS Excel.
Area of work experience:
- Design.
- Environmental assessment.
Transportation/travel information:
- Own vehicle.
- Willing to travel.
- Travel expenses paid by employer.
- Valid driver's licence.
