Pre-Press / Print Studio

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pre-Press Operator to join our studio team. You will be responsible for checking, preparing, and imposing digital files to ensure artwork is print-ready across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Check incoming artwork for print suitability, resolving bleed, resolution, spot colors, and font issues.
• Perform preflight checks using Enfocus PitStop and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Impose and output jobs efficiently for litho plates and digital production workflows.
• Manage workflow queues and rip files for digital output via Fiery Command WorkStation.
• Work closely with the internal studio, account management, and pressroom teams to ensure seamless job handovers and maintain production schedules.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven track record in a commercial pre-press or print studio environment.
• High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Practical experience using Enfocus PitStop Pro for preflighting and PDF editing.
• Hands-on knowledge of digital print workflow software, specifically Fiery Command WorkStation .
• Experience with automated workflow systems such as Agfa Apogee (or similar B2 systems like Fuji XMF, Heidelberg Prinect, or Kodak Prinergy) is highly advantageous.
• Solid understanding of bleed, imposition, trappings, color profiles, and plate output logic.
• Competent in general office applications ( Microsoft Office / Google Workspace ).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tight deadlines.
