1510 Audio Visual (AV) Assistant / Tampines

Option to renew: From 1 Jan 2028 to 31 Dec 2028
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Requirements:
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum Diploma in an AV, media, IT, electronics, or a related field.
- Preferably with 2 years of working experience as an AV Executive and/or Multimedia related or equivalent.
- Experience in providing training on multimedia and ICT skills.
- Experience in AV operations, event support, conference facilities, broadcasting, or a related environment is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good knowledge of audio visual equipment, video recording, photography and event technology.
- Ability to operate microphones, mixers, speakers, projectors, displays, cameras, video conferencing equipment, and presentation systems.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an event or technical team.
- Good communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
Job Scopes:
The Services required are set out as follows:
Function:
- Provides overall technical support to the school for all AV-related issues
Responsibilities:
- Set up, test, operate, and dismantle AV equipment while providing on-site technical support and assisting presenters, speakers, and event organisers with their AV and presentation requirements.
- Operate AV systems and troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and equipment issues, escalating complex technical problems when required.
- Support live streaming, video recording, photography, hybrid meetings, and virtual event requirements where applicable.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for school staff and students on the effective use of relevant AV tools, equipment, and applications.
- Ensure AV equipment and resources are properly managed, maintained, and recorded, with all AV operations conducted in accordance with workplace safety procedures and organizational guidelines.
- Perform any other AV-related duties assigned by HOD ICT and SH ICT.
