Overview We are seeking a positive & detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens & towels are cleaned efficiently and maintained to the highest standards. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will contribute to the overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction at our resort.
Duties
- Operate laundry machines (washers and dryers) to process linens & towels.
- Sort laundry items for optimal results.
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned promptly and stored properly for easy access by housekeeping staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or special items requiring specific cleaning methods, including stained linens.
- Keep records of laundry supplies used & in-time learn to order laundry supplies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to coordinate laundry needs for guest rooms and public areas like swimming pools.
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques preferred
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive team attitude
- Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and safety protocols
- Training will be provided.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 ? 35.0 per week
