Operational and Strategic Buyer M/F

Within the Purchasing department, you will take charge of the various part families that make up the portfolio:

• You are responsible for the development and implementation of procurement strategies for these different part families to ensure they are delivered under the best conditions of price, quality, and lead time, while minimizing the carbon footprint as much as possible
• You implement the global Purchasing policy (contracts, logistics, quality) in force in the factory and with the centralized purchasing organization and are the guarantor of compliance with the conditions negotiated in the contracts

• You are responsible for the search, evaluation, selection, and integration of suppliers into production and play a decisive role in the competitiveness and profitability of our products by influencing the costs of purchased parts, which represent a very significant portion of the total cost of finished products
• You assess the risks of production or potential suppliers based on their development and production capacity, their technical capacity, their quality policy, and their financial viability

• You manage the relationship with suppliers, participate very actively in their performance measurements, and define corrective actions to be implemented with the support of other support services such as quality and the design office depending on the situations
• You plan design reviews with the design office and suppliers to ensure their full understanding of our requirements, to capture their improvement proposals, and to strengthen competition within an equivalent scope

• On the operational aspect & as a member of the Supply Chain function, you support the factory and particularly the procurement and quality functions in case of delivery delays and/or supplier quality problems; your objective being to ensure the continuity of delivery of your parts on time while respecting our quality standards. You will also be responsible for successfully carrying out all purchasing activities during modifications, introductions, and cancellations on your part families. These activities include the definition of delivery packaging, the validation of quality activities & the processing of invoicing
• On the strategic aspect, you participate in new product development projects on the round bale presses and front loader families by supporting all activities of these projects where your part families are involved until their closure

• Ideally from a generalist engineering school or specialized training in Purchasing or International Trade
• First experience in the field of production purchasing / new product
• First experience in the development and integration of new suppliers
• First experience working in multi-site teams
• Good experience in negotiation & conflict resolution
• Proactive in daily cost optimization
• Ability to create a lasting and solid relationship with internal & external partners of the factory thanks to good communication skills
• Skills in managing part families related to the company's field are desired but not mandatory
• English mandatory (written and spoken), Spanish or German would be a plus
• Proficiency in Pack Office and SAP
• Technical knowledge appreciated (reading blueprints, understanding dimension chains.)
