The organization

The Johan de Witt-gymnasium was founded in 1253 and is thus the oldest gymnasium in the Netherlands, in the oldest city of Holland, Dordrecht. We are a small-scale, independent, and categorical gymnasium in which students and teachers quickly feel at home.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for temporary reinforcement for our English section. Initially, it concerns sickness replacement and later maternity replacement of another colleague. You are an inspiring and committed teacher. You are familiar with our target group and feel at home in a pre-academic environment of high expectations with independent students. Pedagogically, you are strong and combine clarity with involvement. You have a positively appreciative attitude and know how to motivate and stimulate students. We are looking for someone with experience in activating didactics and formative action. You teach students solution-oriented thinking, where collaboration and relationships between theory and practice prevail.
