For an internationally active company in the Waregem region, we are looking for a Technical Project Assistant. The organization develops and realizes technical solutions for professional customers, combining engineering, project management, and its own technical services.

Within this role, you will find yourself at the intersection of technology and administration. You will support the preparation and further elaboration of projects, process technical information, and ensure that drawings, bills of materials, and data remain correctly aligned within the internal systems.

To achieve this, you will work closely with various technical and support departments, gaining insight into the entire process behind a technical project.

What does the job entail?

• Processing, checking, and adjusting technical bills of materials and article data so that the information in the internal systems always remains correct and up-to-date
• Further elaborating or adjusting existing technical drawings and plans in function of ongoing projects and changes
• Translating technical information from designs into usable component, material, and order lists
• Supporting the administrative preparation and follow-up of technical projects and carefully documenting changes
• Regularly coordinating with, among others, engineering, purchasing, and other internal departments to ensure that technical and administrative information aligns correctly
• A master's degree in commercial engineering, supply chain, or equivalent is required
• Experience with technical drawing and CAD-software is a major plus; familiarity with 3D drawing programs, bills of materials, or technical databases is an additional asset
• Experience within a technical, industrial, or project-based environment is a bonus, as is familiarity with ERP-systems or managing technical article data
• An accurate and structured working style where you can process information independently, while simultaneously coordinating smoothly with colleagues; additionally, you can express yourself professionally in English
