The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of the Nigerian upstream oil and gas industry, particularly the structure and operations of major exploration and production companies, non-operated joint venture (JV) assets, and key industry stakeholders. Lead business negotiations, coordinate internal resources, and follow opportunities through the sales pipeline to contract award. Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified, high-value prospects and monitor opportunities from initial engagement through conversion. Work collaboratively with technical, operations, finance, and management teams to develop competitive and commercially sound proposals. Monitor sales performance against targets, prepare periodic business development reports, and provide accurate market and pipeline forecasts. Represent the organisation at industry events, stakeholder meetings, client engagements, and relevant business forums.

A minimum of five years' relevant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the upstream oil and gas services sector. Demonstrable knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, including exploration and production operations, non-operated JV assets, and client procurement structures. Established and verifiable professional relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers, particularly within major upstream operators and the Benin–Warri business corridor. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, sales, or business development targets. Experience prospecting for and acquiring new, financially viable, high-volume customers. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, presentation ability, and client relationship management expertise. Excellent market research, opportunity identification, planning, reporting, and pipeline management skills.
