Role Description The Information Technology Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads, presenting IT solutions to prospective clients, and managing the sales cycle from initial contact through closing and post-sale follow-up. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to understand product offerings, tailor proposals to client needs, and ensure a positive customer experience. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a sales pipeline, preparing sales reports, conducting product demonstrations, and building long-term relationships with key accounts. The role also requires staying informed about industry trends and competitive products to support effective sales strategies. Qualifications
Strong IT Sales skills with experience selling technology solutions or services. Solid understanding of Information Technology concepts and the ability to translate technical features into business value. Proficiency in Lead Generation and prospecting activities to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Experience in Account Management, including relationship building, client retention, and upselling or cross-selling. Excellent Communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and clear client correspondence. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B or IT-focused environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales analytics to track performance and opportunities. Ability to work on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria, and engage with local and regional clients.
