Position Summary

The IT Manager serves as the primary owner of software support for the factory, with a strong emphasis on Flexi Biz ERP administration. This role is accountable for ensuring the smooth operation of all business software, including managing user access, resolving user issues, coordinating with the ERP service provider on bug fixes and upgrades, and generating and modifying reports to meet management and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the single point of contact for all software-related issues across the factory. Manage user access and roles within Flexi Biz ERP, including creation, modification, deactivation, and permission level assignments. Coordinate with the Flexi Biz ERP service provider on bug fixes, patches, upgrades, and technical escalations. Diagnose and resolve day-to-day software issues raised by users across all departments. Identify, log, track, and follow up on software bugs through to full resolution. Generate, customize, and modify ERP reports in accordance with requirements from management and department heads. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of issues, resolutions, access logs, and report changes. Train end-users on ERP modules, new features, and best practices. Ensure data integrity, system uptime, and security of business-critical software. Liaise with management to understand reporting needs and translate them into ERP report modifications. Support periodic audits by ensuring ERP data, access logs, and reports are accurate and readily available.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT / software support, preferably within a manufacturing or factory environment. Hands-on experience with ERP systems; prior experience with Flexi Biz ERP is strongly preferred (or a comparable ERP platform). Strong understanding of user access management and role-based permission structures. Proven experience coordinating with external software vendors and service providers. Report writing and customization skills within ERP systems; knowledge of SQL or report-builder tools is an advantage. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between users, management, and vendors. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
