Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Procurement Officer makes sure COTACOF's office, warehouse and upcountry sites get the right goods and services, at the right price and on time, in line with company policy and TRA requirements. About 80% of the role is procurement. The remaining 20% is first line IT support, working with Sucafina Group IT. Procurement (approx. 80%) Turn purchase requisitions into POs, using competitive quotations and following COTACOF's procurement policy. Buy packaging (jute bags, liners, pallets), PPE, spares, consumables and IT equipment at the best value. Negotiate prices and terms, and manage supplier and service contracts. Keep an approved, TRA-compliant supplier list (TIN, VAT, EFD receipts) and review key suppliers yearly. Plan stock and reorder levels with the Warehouse team, especially before peak season. Match deliveries to POs and invoices, and keep audit-ready procurement records. Send a monthly report to the Finance Manager and MD on spend, savings and supplier performance. IT Support (approx. 20%) Give day to day IT support to staff (laptops, printers, network, email, business systems), escalating to Group IT when needed. Keep internet, Wi-Fi and VPN links between sites running, and manage ISPs. Set up and remove user accounts and equipment for joiners and leavers, and keep the IT asset register. Run routine backups and security updates, and support CCTV and access control systems.

PSPTB registration or a CPSP/CIPS qualification is an advantage. Experience At least 3 years in procurement, ideally in agribusiness, manufacturing, export or FMCG. Basic IT support experience. Technical Competences Sourcing, negotiation and supplier management Knowledge of Tanzanian procurement tax rules (TIN, VAT, EFD) Strong Excel and experience with an ERP system Basic IT troubleshooting and Microsoft 365 Other requirements Fluent in English and Kiswahili Based in Dar es Salaam, with occasional travel upcountry High integrity, well organised and able to work independently
