jobistas is seeking, on behalf of a client, a prestigious packaging conversion company in the Giannitsa area, a Mechanical Engineer, with responsibilities including the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and the continuous upgrade of production processes.

Your tasks

Main Responsibilities

• Planning of maintenance tasks and overhaul repairs
• Mechanical design for equipment purchases and evaluation of potential suppliers
• Mechanical design of production orders for products manufactured by the company itself, as well as participation in the design of new products
• Management of quotes and orders for the materials required for maintenance tasks
• Active participation in the diagnosis and resolution of faults and, in general, the technical needs of the factory
• Updating the maintenance log with immediate recording of tasks as well as problems and general findings
• Providing expertise to production employees to ensure the correct use of equipment

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• University/Technical Institute Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Good knowledge of the English Language (written, spoken & technical terminology)
• Good knowledge of mechanical drawings (essential knowledge of AutoCad and desirable knowledge of Solidworks)
• Desirable experience of approximately three years in a similar position within an industrial environment
• Fulfilled military obligations
