Uber Driver for Testing the Uber App

Accountabilities Participate in functional testing of new and updated features within the driver mobile app.

Use the app in realistic scenarios and evaluate whether features work as expected.

Identify and document defects or unexpected behavior using the designated defect-tracking platform.

Provide clear, accurate, and actionable feedback based on your experience as an active driver.

Complete assigned testing tasks within the required timeframe, with approximately one hour of testing availability needed per opportunity.

Review provided testing materials and instructions before completing each assignment.

Participate in recurring weekly testing activities, with additional ad-hoc opportunities when available.

Requirements:

Be at least 18 years old.

Be physically located in Switzerland.

Be an active Uber Driver with experience using the driver app.

Have an iPhone and/or Android smartphone suitable for testing.

Have at least one hour available for testing assignments.

Be comfortable following testing instructions and documenting findings clearly.

Have strong attention to detail and the ability to provide practical, structured feedback.

Be comfortable working independently in a remote freelance environment.

Have a local bank account that supports SEPA payments, as required for testing the app’s Flex Pay feature. You will not be asked to share your banking information with the testing teams.

Be willing to create an account on the partner’s testing platform if selected, where assignments are provided and payments are processed.
