Technical Account Manager (AI Driven) - Curveglass
Accountabilities Own the technical implementation of solutions for airline clients from initial requirements through development, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain client-specific Adapter functionality across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, business rules, and data exports.
Develop production software using Python, TypeScript, React, SQL, and related technologies as required.
Integrate applications with client datasets, APIs, infrastructure, and production data flows.
Deploy and operate applications and infrastructure within enterprise AWS or Azure environments.
Troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and maintain reliable, observable, and maintainable implementations.
Work directly with clients to understand technical and business requirements, lead meetings, explain technical decisions, and manage expectations.
Analyze recommendation results in collaboration with airline revenue management teams and help translate findings into technical or product improvements.
Partner with data science, product, and engineering teams to determine which functionality should remain client-specific and which should become part of the shared product.
Bring client feedback, technical requirements, and recurring needs into roadmap discussions and shared product development.
Use modern AI coding tools to improve development speed and effectiveness while maintaining engineering quality.
Take ownership of ambiguous technical challenges, make thoughtful trade-offs, and deliver practical production-ready solutions.
Requirements
Strong professional software engineering experience, with the ability to independently design, build, debug, deploy, and maintain production systems.
Advanced proficiency in Python and experience using it in production environments.
Full-stack development capabilities, including practical experience with TypeScript and React.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational data, APIs, client datasets, and production data integrations.
Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining applications in AWS or Azure.
Experience with containers and infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform.
Demonstrated ability to own systems across application development, integrations, infrastructure, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions, explain complex concepts clearly, manage expectations, and challenge requirements constructively when appropriate.
Business-oriented mindset with an understanding of the outcomes and problems behind technical requirements.
Production-focused engineering approach, with attention to reliability, observability, maintainability, debugging, and real-world system performance.
Experience using AI-powered development and coding tools as part of a professional engineering workflow.
Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Fluent spoken and written English, with confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Flexibility to occasionally adapt meeting schedules to collaborate with clients across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.
Enterprise implementation experience, particularly with products requiring significant integration and customization, is a plus.
Experience in airline technology, pricing, forecasting, revenue management, or related systems is advantageous.
Data engineering experience with production pipelines and technologies such as Parquet or Snowflake is a plus.
Professional proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is advantageous.
Previous startup experience and strong product instincts are welcome, particularly the ability to distinguish client-specific solutions from broader product capabilities.
