Sustainability Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Data & AI

Accountabilities: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of Data & AI products supporting sustainability, ESG reporting, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, governance, and consumption while ensuring data quality and compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and standards.

Develop data models, semantic layers, and knowledge frameworks that enable reliable reporting, analytics, and auditability across sustainability domains.

Design and implement data consumption solutions, including APIs, dashboards, business intelligence reports, and custom analytics applications.

Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, data scientists, product managers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value digital products.

Analyze and document data requirements across multiple enterprise systems to support downstream reporting, operational processes, and business intelligence.

Provide technical leadership by promoting modern engineering practices, AI-assisted development, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Contribute to Agile product delivery by supporting solution design, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing platform optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM-related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years focused on data engineering, analytics, or enterprise data platform development.

Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, ELT processes, and large-scale data engineering solutions.

Hands-on experience with distributed data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, MPP databases, or similar platforms.

Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms, including Databricks or equivalent technologies.

Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization solutions, APIs, and enterprise reporting platforms.

Familiarity with ESG reporting, sustainability data, regulatory compliance frameworks, or governance standards is highly desirable.

Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, AI-assisted software development, and modern engineering workflows.

Understanding of user experience methodologies such as Design Thinking, prototyping, wireframing, and user journey mapping is an advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary global teams.

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring technical teams, resolving complex challenges, and delivering high-quality data solutions.
