Accountabilities: The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for accelerating growth across assigned enterprise vertical markets by developing strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and leading complex sales initiatives. This role requires a combination of market intelligence, consultative selling, account leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned enterprise industry segments.

Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities.

Build and maintain target account strategies, ecosystem maps, and market development plans.

Serve as a market expert by providing insights and recommendations to internal leadership teams.

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with enterprise customers and strategic partners.

Develop executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.

Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and customer requirements.

Create account expansion strategies to increase long-term revenue opportunities.

Manage opportunities from initial development through negotiation and contract execution.

Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, customer events, and industry forums.

Participate in industry groups, advisory boards, panels, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence.

Share customer insights, competitive intelligence, and industry trends to support business decisions.

Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and executive teams to support strategic initiatives.

Develop and maintain accurate account plans, sales forecasts, pipeline information, and CRM records.

Travel regularly to meet customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, with expectations of 50%+ travel.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional with a strong background in strategic account management, business development, and technology-driven markets.

Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, business development, partnerships, or related commercial roles.

Experience selling to or working with ISPs, hyperscalers, AI infrastructure providers, cloud platforms, compute companies, connectivity providers, network infrastructure, or digital infrastructure organizations.

Proven success developing pipelines, closing new business opportunities, and managing complex enterprise sales processes.

Strong experience managing strategic customer relationships and engaging executive-level stakeholders.

Ability to create account growth strategies and support go-to-market initiatives.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems and market dynamics.

Ability to operate as a customer advocate and translate market insights into business opportunities.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.

Existing relationships or industry networks within cloud infrastructure, AI, hyperscaler, connectivity, telecom, or related markets are strongly preferred.

Experience participating in industry events, associations, partnerships, or thought leadership activities is a plus.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams.

Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more.
