Software Engineer, Partner Engineering
Accountabilities: Build deep technical expertise across the platform and use that knowledge to deliver high-impact solutions for strategic partners.
Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable solutions that address partner needs and business objectives.
Own the full technical lifecycle of partner integrations, from initial discovery and onboarding through launch, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate closely with internal engineering, product, and partner-facing teams to ensure smooth implementation and consistent partner experiences.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while identifying opportunities to automate recurring solutions and prevent future problems.
Gather and incorporate feedback from partners to improve existing tools, products, workflows, and integration experiences.
Apply strong engineering practices, including thoughtful system design, risk-based testing, code reviews, and maintainable implementation.
Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders by combining technical expertise with strong customer empathy and clear communication.
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant software engineering or technical experience; experience in advertising technology or a related industry is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and data analysis.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to break complex problems into practical solutions.
Demonstrated experience working directly with customers, partners, or other external stakeholders, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-changing environment.
Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies, solving challenging problems, and improving existing systems.
Legally authorized to work in Canada and available for full-time remote employment.
