Accountabilities Coordinate day-to-day subcontractor activities, including scheduling, work assignments, performance monitoring, and follow-up.

Serve as a primary point of contact for subcontractor crews, resolving field issues and escalating matters when appropriate.

Lead onboarding and training for new subcontractor partners and team members.

Conduct or coordinate quality assurance and quality control reviews of field work against program requirements, safety expectations, and building science standards.

Document QA/QC findings, track corrective actions, and contribute to improving quality-control processes.

Process, track, and maintain work orders throughout the program pipeline, identifying bottlenecks, delays, and other operational issues.

Support reporting, file management, operational administration, and transitions to new systems and processes.

Coordinate field-visit logistics with participating communities and subcontractors.

Support sensitive escalations involving subcontractors, community members, participants, or external organizations, including direct communication and follow-up.

Participate in client interactions, respond to operational questions, and provide support to the Program Manager when required.

Travel regularly to participating Northern First Nation and Métis communities to support field activities and oversee on-site work.

Build and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with community members, leadership, housing authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders.

As a senior team member, provide guidance and support to colleagues while contributing to a positive and accountable team environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction, skilled trades, residential energy efficiency, retrofit programs, or program operations.

Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work independently and manage complex information with limited day-to-day supervision.

Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, detailed reports that meet contractual and program requirements.

Experience creating or using tools, trackers, calculators, and other resources that support program teams, clients, and contractors.

Working knowledge of residential building science, home construction practices, and/or residential energy-efficiency retrofits.

Experience coordinating or overseeing contractors, subcontractors, trades, or field-service teams; strong hands-on trades experience may also provide a relevant foundation.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple work orders, schedules, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Comfortable handling sensitive escalations and communicating directly with contractors, participants, clients, and other stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and training skills, with the ability to support and develop other team members.

Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record, with willingness to travel regularly to remote and Northern communities, including overnight travel of approximately 20% .

A trades background in areas such as carpentry, general construction, HVAC, or a related discipline is an asset.

A building science credential such as BPI certification, or willingness to obtain one, is an asset.

Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations, particularly Northern and remote First Nation and Métis communities, is an asset.

Education or certification in construction, building science, engineering, or a related field is an asset.

Ability to research industry trends and apply relevant developments to program design and continuous improvement is an asset.

Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or immigration support and must successfully complete applicable pre-employment checks.

Targeted compensation of approximately CAD $32–$35 per hour , equivalent to approximately $66,560–$72,800 annually based on a 40-hour work week.

Broader compensation range of CAD $24.80–$43.20 per hour , with individual offers determined by factors such as experience, skills, certifications, internal equity, and market considerations.
