- Architect,develop,andintegratemodel-basedsystemsengineering(MBSE)modelsforNavysystemsandprocessestosupportengineeringdocumentation,technicalanalysis,andsimulation.
- EvaluatealternativetechnicalapproachesandselectappropriateSysMLmodelingstrategiesincollaborationwithcustomersandmanagement.
- Review,extract,andstructureinformationfromtechnicaldocumentationforincorporationintosystemmodels.
- LeadtheimplementationofselectedarchitecturesinCameoSystemsModeler,assigningtaskstomodelingteammembersandensuringdeliverablesmeetdesignobjectives.
- IntegrateCameomodelswithdatabasesanddatavisualizationplatformstosupportcustomerreportingandanalysisrequirements.
- Providetechnicalguidance,mentorship,andongoingsupporttojuniormodelers.
- Conductqualityassurancereviewsofsystemmodelsandrelatedtechnicaldeliverablestoensureaccuracy,consistency,andcompliancewithprojectrequirements.
- Maintainconfigurationmanagementpracticesformodels,repositories,andassociatedengineeringartifacts.
- Coordinatewithprogrammanagerstoassessworkforceavailability,prioritizeassignments,andallocatemodelingtaskseffectively.
Requirements
- ABachelorofScienceinSystemsEngineering,ComputerScience,orarelateddisciplinefromanABET-accreditedprogram.
- Atleast5yearsofsystemsengineeringexperienceorexperienceworkingwithNavalSeaSystemsCommand(NAVSEA)systemsinanengineeringcapacity.
- Aminimumof4yearsofhands-onexperiencewithCameoSystemsModeler.
- Atleast2yearsofrelevanttechnicalleadershipexperience,includingtaskcoordination,technicaloversight,orteammentoring.
- Aminimumof2yearsofexperienceusingJiraandConfluenceforprojectcoordination,documentation,andcollaboration.
- StrongunderstandingofMBSEprinciples,SysMLmodelingapproaches,systemarchitecturedevelopment,andengineeringdataintegration.
- Excellentanalytical,problem-solving,andtechnicaldocumentationskills,withtheabilitytotranslatecomplexrequirementsintoeffectivemodelingsolutions.
- Strongcommunicationandcollaborationskills,includingtheabilitytoworkwithcustomers,programmanagers,andmultidisciplinarytechnicalteams.
- Theabilitytomanagecompetingpriorities,coordinateworkloads,andmaintainhighstandardsofqualityinaremoteworkingenvironment.
- Preferredqualifications:Experiencewithshipboardcontrolsystems,operationaltechnology,networkinfrastructure,andNavytechnicaldocumentation,includingtechnicalmanualsandinstallationdrawings.RelevantcertificationssuchasINCOSEorOCSMPareadvantageous.FamiliaritywithMySQL,Databricks,andPowerBIisalsodesirable.
- Securityrequirements:U.S.citizenshipisrequired,alongwithanactiveorcurrentSecretsecurityclearance.
