Senior Enterprise Architect
Accountabilities Develop enterprise architecture blueprints spanning business, application, data, and technology domains, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and target-state architecture.
Design scalable integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services, including API Management, Logic Apps, and related cloud capabilities.
Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, architecture principles, and guardrails that promote secure, scalable, maintainable, and standardized technology delivery.
Establish and maintain architecture standards, technology roadmaps, solution patterns, and supporting documentation within ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture/Application Portfolio Management or comparable platforms.
Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards, solution assessments, approvals, and adherence to established enterprise standards.
Partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, architects, and delivery teams as a trusted advisor, identifying architectural risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business strategy and capabilities into practical technology recommendations, capability models, application roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
Lead or contribute to application portfolio management, capability mapping, rationalization, modernization, and technology standardization initiatives.
Evaluate emerging Microsoft and partner technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, integration, scalability, security, and long-term architectural maturity.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices, governance frameworks, reusable assets, and organizational architecture maturity.
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support enterprise technology objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field; equivalent directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
At least 6 years of related professional experience in enterprise architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, or a closely related discipline.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF , with the ability to apply architecture principles pragmatically within business and technology environments.
Deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem , including Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure integration services, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot.
Strong experience with integration architecture, cloud-native design patterns, enterprise application modernization, and scalable technology solutions.
Experience with ServiceNow APM, Enterprise Architecture modules , or comparable tools supporting application portfolio management, capability mapping, rationalization, and architecture governance.
Demonstrated ability to develop architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, capability models, standards, and reusable technology patterns.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
Ability to operate as a strategic advisor, influence decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when evaluating dependencies, risks, technology trade-offs, and modernization opportunities.
Experience supporting application rationalization, technology standardization, and enterprise-wide architecture transformation.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across architecture, engineering, delivery, business, and leadership teams.
Willingness to meet applicable employment requirements, including background screening where required.
